Welcome to Fright Lab. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from Fright Lab through frightlab.store.

By visiting our website, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. About Fright Lab

Fright Lab is an online retailer offering light-up masks and related products.

Throughout these Terms, the words “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Fright Lab. The terms “you” and “your” refer to anyone accessing our website or purchasing from us.

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

2. Online Store Terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your province, state, or country of residence, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use this website.

You may not use our products or website for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

You must not attempt to introduce viruses, malicious code, or other material intended to interfere with the operation or security of our website.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to display our products, colours, photographs, features, and descriptions as accurately as possible.

However, colours and brightness may appear differently depending on your screen, lighting conditions, device settings, and environment.

Light-up masks may appear more or less illuminated depending on ambient lighting.

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page:

Fright Lab light-up masks require 2 AAA batteries. Batteries are not included.

Product packaging, minor design details, or components may occasionally vary without materially changing the intended function of the product.

4. Orders

Submitting an order does not automatically guarantee acceptance.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit an order for reasons including:

suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions;
incorrect pricing or product information;
inventory shortages;
shipping limitations;
suspected resale or abuse of promotions; or
other circumstances that prevent us from reasonably fulfilling the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, the applicable payment will be refunded.

You are responsible for ensuring that the billing, shipping, contact, and payment information submitted with your order is accurate.

5. Prices and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are shown in the currency indicated during your shopping experience.

Prices may change at any time without notice.

Any applicable taxes, duties, or other charges will be displayed where required during checkout.

We use Shopify and third-party payment processors to process transactions. Fright Lab does not directly store complete payment-card information.

From time to time, Fright Lab may offer discount codes, free shipping, bundles, limited-time promotions, or other offers.

Promotions may:

have eligibility requirements;
be limited to certain products or regions;
expire without notice;
not be combined with other offers; and

Delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Delays may occur due to carriers, weather, customs, holidays, incorrect addresses, unusually high order volumes, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Once an order has been transferred to a shipping carrier, delivery may be subject to the carrier’s own procedures and policies.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address.

8. Returns, Refunds, and Damaged Items

Returns, refunds, exchanges, cancellations, and damaged or defective products are governed by our Refund Policy.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and include your order number and, where appropriate, photographs of the issue.

We may require reasonable evidence of damage or defects before providing a replacement or refund.

9. Product Use and Safety

Customers are responsible for using Fright Lab products appropriately and in accordance with any instructions provided.

Our masks are costume and entertainment accessories. They are not protective equipment and should not be relied upon for protection against impact, chemicals, smoke, airborne particles, or other hazards.

Do not use a mask in circumstances where reduced visibility could create a safety risk, including while:

driving;
cycling;
operating machinery;
crossing roads; or
performing another activity requiring unrestricted vision.

Children should use products under appropriate adult supervision.

Stop using a product if it becomes damaged, excessively hot, or otherwise appears unsafe.

10. Availability

Certain products may be available exclusively online and may be offered in limited quantities.

We do not guarantee that any product will remain available indefinitely.

We may modify, discontinue, or limit products without notice.

11. Accuracy of Information

We attempt to keep information on our website accurate and current.

However, our website may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to:

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Fright Lab harmless from claims, losses, damages, or reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of our website, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another party’s rights.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you based on your place of residence.
